Infiniti Q30 Scores Top Safety Rating Ahead of its Australian Market Release this Month
MELBOURNE, Australia – Infiniti’s all-new Q30 active compact has been awarded a top 5 star safety rating by the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) ahead of its official local sales release later this month.
ANCAP praised Infiniti for making AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) a standard-equipment item in the all-new Q30, one of many features fitted to the complete Q30 model range, which will comprise three separate model grades and three engine choices. Infiniti’s first premium compact has previously been praised by EuroNCAP, which awarded the Q30 its Best Performing Small Family Car in its Best in Class Cars 2015 program, announced earlier this year.
Australian premium-car buyers are certain to be impressed with the Infiniti Q30,” said Jean-Philippe Roux, the Managing Director of Infiniti Cars Australia. “The Q30’s styling, dynamic handling and clever technologies are only some of this all-new models many highlights and we have appointed this car to deliver what Australian buyers expect in this very important new-car segment.”

This commenced in February this year, with the release of the updated Infiniti Q70 sedan; the all-new Q30 will be in local showrooms from later this month. The Q30’s all-wheel-drive crossover variant, the all-new QX30, will commence sales in September alongside the update Q50 sedan, which will feature, among other highlights, the brand’s all-new VR30 twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. Later this year, the all-new Q60 sports coupe will arrive in Australia.
